Aunt Ruth's Book, Frank's Autobiography, page 1, paragraph 6

The family were received into the Mesa Ward, January 31, 1886. My father ran a vineyard for Dan Bagley on West 4th Avenue. We lived the next year on the Bagley farm. It was there that my sister, Hilda May was born on July 31, 1886.

Only Grandpa Frank would be so precise in a personal history. He had been a Church clerk and county court clerk and was therefore very familiar with records and archives. Clearly he checked the records of the Mesa (First) Ward to get the date that the family was accepted into the ward.
